Important Upgrade Information (SynQ 2.x to ConnectR 4.x)
Because ConnectR synchronizes the data in real time, in both directions, there are significant differences in the way sync is performed as compared to SynQ 2.x, including:
- Regardless of the sync direction that was configured with SynQ 2.x, ConnectR always synchronizes data both ways.
- Irrespective of the selection of Items to synchronize with SynQ 2.x, ConnectR will always synchronize the calendar, tasks and contact information with server both ways.
- Sync is performed for all configured users as soon as Outlook is started.
- Manual sync button has been removed from the standard toolbar.
- Date range options for syncing calendar were removed because ConnectR currently syncs all the data for a user calendar.
- Because ConnectR syncs in real time, the option for configuring background synchronization has been removed.
