ConnectR 5.0 Information
The ConnectR add-in to Microsoft Outlook synchronizes:
- Calendar events, to-do/task items, and address-book contacts between your mail server and Outlook.
- Data, both ways—Outlook to mail server and vice versa.
- Immediately when you enter/edit a calendar event, a task/to-do item, or contact.
Basic ConnectR Installation Requirements
You must have:
- A valid user account on your calendar server.
- The latest Windows and Outlook updates and service packs installed on your computer.
- Outlook installed, configured, and run at least once for each user prior to running ConnectR.
Microsoft Software Supported by ConnectR 5.0
ConnectR supports the English language versions of the following Microsoft software:

Important Upgrade Information
To upgrade to ConnectR 5.0, if you are running ConnectR 4.x on a computer running:
- Windows 7 or Vista, you must uninstall ConnectR 4.x before you install version 5.x. To uninstall ConnectR, click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Windows XP, you can simply upgrade to ConnectR 5.x without uninstalling the older ConnectR version first.
To upgrade both Microsoft Outlook and ConnectR:
- 1. Uninstall your current version of ConnectR.
- 2. Upgrade Outlook (or the entire Microsoft Office Suite).
- 3. Install ConnectR 5.0.
